Discover the New iPhone 16 Pro Max: Bigger Display, Enhanced Camera, and More

The iPhone 16 is going to be Apple’s most boring phone, returning to its old design. There is such a rumour that people are not paying that much attention to it anymore. Recently surfaced Apple iPhone 16 leaks have revealed that the iPhone 16 is making a comeback on its old iPhone 12, and the non-Pro iPhones are now designed like the iPhone 12. However, no change has been made in the design of Pro iPhones, and it has been kept as it is.

Display Size Changes in iPhone 16

If we look at changes regarding the body of the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max, only 3 changes have been made. The screen size of the new iPhones has been increased this time. The iPhone 16, which is the smallest model in the series, has remained the same at 6.1 inches, and no changes have been made to the body. Similarly, no changes have been made to the 16 Plus; the size of the 16 Plus is 6.7 inches as before. If we talk about Pro models, their display size has increased.

The display size has been increased by 3 inches in the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. The iPhone 16 Pro is now 6.3 inches, and the 16 Pro Max is 6.9 inches. However, the previous iPhone Pro Max also felt quite large and difficult to use with one hand, measuring 6.7 inches in size. But Apple is still preparing to launch its new iPhones by increasing their size.

There has been no official announcement from Apple yet, but if the rumours are to be believed, then this leak is true to a great extent. Since there is always a demand for Apple’s phones, as soon as the new iPhone is launched, their covers and other accessories also come on the market. New Capture Button

New Chipset & Processor

Apple is going to introduce the A18 Bionic chip in the new iPhone, which is going to be Apple’s fastest processor to date. The Apple A18 Bionic chipset is going to have a 3nm technology chipset, which has not been introduced in any Android smartphone till now. Most of the smartphones currently on the market are using 4nm technology chipsets. This time, Apple will win. However, if we look at last year’s phones, Apple did the same with the base models. Upgraded its last year’s chipset and launched it in new base models.

However, Apple’s 3nm chipset is more powerful and efficient than Android’s 4nm chipset. But soon after the launch of the iPhone, Snapdragon will bring its Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 3nm chipset, which can again give tough competition to Apple. Apple’s new A18 Bionic chipset with iOS 18 will bring new energy to the iPhone 16, which also has in-built AI. This new chipset will be great for heavy graphics, console gaming, ray tracing, and heavy gaming. But it also remains to be seen whether Apple will bring this chipset to base models with all these features or not.

New AI Features

Apple’s new a18 Bionic chipset with iOS 18 will bring a new energy to the iPhone which also has inbuilt AI. This new chipset will be great for heavy graphics, console gaming, ray tracing, heavy gaming. But it also remains to be seen whether Apple will bring this chipset in base models also for all these features or not. Apple has made all preparations to introduce AI with the new chipset. Apple’s new AI will be on the device which will be able to act directly on the user’s commands. As far as ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini are concerned, both of them are cloud-based AI programs which require internet even to be used on the device.

It is also worth noting that there will be a requirement on the on-device as well, but the cloud brings the possibility of being faster and more accurate than AI. However, Apple has joined hands with Google and will bring Google’s Gemini AI in its new iPhones and its deal has been done between Google and Apple. However, Apple still has 4 more months left in which Apple will officially announce in the WWDC 2024 program what new changes will be made in the new iPhone.

Body & Dimensions

The display size of the iPhone 16 has been increased, but the base models have been treated unfairly. There have been no changes in the body of the base models, they will come the same as before. The refresh rate in base models is also limited to 60Hz, which is a bit disappointing. Apple is a premium flagship phone whose price is always high, yet it is limited to 60hz only.

The body will be kept in titanium only in Pro models. No significant changes will be made in this either, only the size of the display will be increased, and a new button will be given below the power button on the right side. There is a possibility of some change in the action button. In which some more new features will be added in the new iOS 18.
Talking about body dimensions, the display size has been increased by 3 inches in Pro models. In the table given below you can see what the changes in the Pro models are and last year’s Pro models.

Last year’s Pro models have a display size of 6.1 inches, which is smaller than the new models and is less heavy than the new models at 187 and 221 grams.

Due to increase in body size the phone has become a bit heavy. The Pro Max model is already a heavy phone, but it will weigh another 4 grams more. Although it may not be much noticeable in daily routine life, iPhones are heavier than other smartphones.
